Project meeting in Turkey

From September 30th to October 4th, 2019 we had our first project meeting in Adana, Turkey. The title of this meeting was Tolerant Schools and this meeting was to plan the project. It was only for teachers. Unfortunately, Poland could not come in person so they took part virtually.

At the end of the meeting, we made a report to summarize the meeting.

The project school: Sehit Metin Malkav Ortaokulu, in Adana, Turkey.

We were in a lot of meetings to plan the project. Our host, Sehit Metin Malkav Secondary school, arranged a seminar on organizing a project.

During this meeting, we formed a project group and created a timesheet for our activities. Our goal with this project was to use the Five-Factor Model in our work to give our activities an extra perspective. The Five-Factor Model focuses on 1. Openness to experience. 2. Conscientiousness. 3. Extraversion. 4. Agreeableness and 5. Neuroticism. With activities that let our students meet these five traits, we aim to get a new look at our work. We also discussed project implementation and dissemination.

We visited the District Directorate of National Education and told them about our project.

We also got the chance to spend time with the students in classes!

We also got to see some sights in the area.

And a farewell dinner at the end.
