A report from the meeting.

The activities we took part in this week were planned with the Five Factor Model in mind:

Openness to the experience: The students took an active part in our virtual activities and used their creativity in many different ways!

Conscientiousness: Poland arranged a seminar on Civic education and stereotypes to encourage our students to become more aware of European diversity. This was a lot of fun and we also got to take a look at ourselves and think about what other people think of us and what stereotypes there are about our own country. We also took part in a workshop about Stories That Move.

Extraversion: We worked in mixed teams with participants from different countries to get to know eachother better and work as a team. This was not always so easy when working online and especially if not all of us are as confident in speaking English. This helped us develop our language skills as well as courage.

Pleasantness: We created puzzles, made posters and used our creativity in taking photos for our virtual exhibition called Tolerance through my eyes.

Neuroticism: Our workshop about stereotypes gave good discussions on situations when you might have been stereotyped in a certain way and people might have judged you in the wrong way. It is very important to be aware of this and keep an open mind when meeting new people.
